Small but quaint space - very friendly and fun staff. I stopped by after a hard workout & decided to grab two slices on the way home. The choices were limited but I figure that is so they can keep it fresh and that was fine with me. The crust was perfect for me - some may think it is too crisp but I really liked the texture and flavor. I also appreciated that the amount of cheese and sauce was just enough - I don't like excess. I am sure you could always ask them to add on extra of either. The chalkboard menu stated they now have dinner salads - I asked about that and the guy told me it was greens and then listed the toppings. I asked if he could add onions and he said he could add basically anything they have as toppings for the pizzas. When I got home, I was quite disappointed - the salad cost as much as the two slices and it was just iceberg blend salad mix that you can get for .99 at the grocery store. It did have the onions added which I appreciated. The blue cheese salad dressing was quite good. I am just disappointed with the quality of the lettuce especially considering it cost $5. The menu didn't have a price stated - I should have asked but if he would have told me the price, I likely would have just expected I was going to get something pretty awesome. I live up the street so I pass by here often - I look forward to grabbing more slices and to checking out the other menu items. Again - the guy working was super friendly & funny,

Sometimes eating egg salad sandwich's from the local convenience store while using the dash of my cooper 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme as a food tray just doesn't cut it. While there is nothing wrong with egg salad, in fact I find egg salad sandwich's fucking delicious, but sometimes you just need something more. Nova was finishing up with an appointment and asked if I'd meet her for some pizza. Now that egg salad I just had was pretty tasty but when mama says she wants some pizza , well pizza she will get. The place used to be called Jersey Boys or Jersey Guys Pizza, some shit like that and it was damn good. Big slices, good sauce, just the right amount of cheese and killer crust. Nothing can screw up a pizza quicker then a shit crust. Having changed owners it's now GoodSons Pizza. Last time I was at GoodSons Pizza I took Greta. This was soon after the change in ownership. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and Greta ordered a slice of cheese. We added our own mushrooms, yes you read that right and I'm not talking button mushrooms. Everything was still the way I remembered it so when Nova suggested we meet at that "New York style" place in Beaverdale I knew exactly what she was talking about. Some serious street construction going on in the area, it took me forever to finally find a way in. It was easier getting into my Jr. High prom date then it was this place, no fault of theirs. We ordered 2 slices pepperoni, 2 slices of sausage and a couple bottles of pop. Little over $11 bucks. The place had about dozen people in it all in various degrees of dining. Some hipster dude with his mac sat next to the Steve Jobs quotes which hung next to the register and Africa by Toto was playing in the background. We sat at the front far right table in a little cove, far from the hipster. Nova has a problem with hipsters and I'd rather not have to deal with that by sitting to close. Nova told me all about her most recent client. That's the thing about being involved with a, well let's just say a lady who does what she does, I get to hear about all you fellas shortcomings. Our pizza arrived pretty quickly. Slices were smaller then we remembered and the crust seemed thicker. Twisted Sister 'We're not gonna take it" played through the sound system. Maybe they were having an off day, we all have them but it just wasn't the same. The pie was still good, just not Jersey Boys good but still 2 slices and a bottle of soda for $5.50 is hard to beat. Plus free wi-fi from some place called groundsforcelebration, give em a shot. We're not gonna write them off just yet. Like I said we all have off days, whatever it is we happen to be slinging, pizza included. Peace

OK. First time here. I got a Phili Cheese steak sandwich. It was OK. To much bread and the cut of steak could have been better. HyVee during the summer has a grill outside and they serve a more prime cut, you can get cheese and raw onions on it and it's better then this. Maybe GoodSons could take some notes. Also it was $10, that's too much considering HyVee is only about $7. I got to stay in Philadelphia for over a mouth once, I ate a cheese steak every day, the other days I ate Wa Wa, keep working on it, I'll be back to try the pizza soon.

this place is great. Not only is the staff fantastic, they are goodlooking and energetic. the food is great. whether it's two slices and a can of soda for 5.50 or their subs for around 9 dollars you cannot go wrong. the subs might i add are huge...good luck eating it un one sitting. Their pizza crust is light and slightly crunchy. They are open relatively late for the good ol' drunken fix. they also serve their counter part Goodsons the bar just a block away. so go have a beer or 7 and order some delicious food. This business strategy is fantastic. They cater the businesses and local bars in a unique fashion. Only thing they should add....delivery! if your are in the beaverdale area it is a great place for authentic Jersey style pizza. I strongly recommend it! oh pro tip...call ahead for your two slices since they make it fresh if you dont want to wait about 5 minutes.

We went here thinking it was Jersey Guy's and it had changed owners . I have not been to Jersey Guys so I don't know what type of pizza they have but after waiting 35 minutes for a pizza , we took our pizza only to discover once home that it wasn't cooked only the inch at the top was cooked the rest raw. Customer service now a days sucks. The cook actually boxed a half done pie! Really. Careful if you go here we just spent $18 for dough. Not happy at all. Too far to go back. I am just out the $18. good luck

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
